According to ANAROCK, a renowned real estate advisory firm, the number of land deals in Delhi-NCR surged to 29 during FY24, covering approximately 314 acres, a rise from 23 deals spanning 273.9 acres in FY23.
Residential Projects Dominate Acquisitions
Residential and township developments took the lead, accounting for nearly 298 acres across 26 transactions. Additionally, commercial real estate saw two significant land parcels, each exceeding seven acres, while an 8.61-acre plot was allocated for an educational venture.
Gurugram Takes the Lead
Gurugram emerged as the epicenter of major land deals, recording 22 transactions. Noida followed with 5 deals, and Greater Noida trailed with 2. Delhi and Faridabad registered minimal activity with one transaction each.
Leading developers like DLF Homes secured 29 acres, while Signature Global acquired 25.75 acres, both for expansive residential ventures.
